A massive thank you to Adrian from MindWise for teaching our children about emotional intelligence and emotional resilience during a Beyond Bricks session. The boys and girls learned about the brain, began to build a Lego creation, reflected on their emotions and discussed strategies to include in their coping toolkit.
It was fantastic to see the children developing communication skills, teamwork skills and patience during the building process as each group member took on the role of engineer, supplier or builder. We look forward to our next session!
